Senior executive and founder of Cerbone & Co., available for executive, board, and advisory roles
Executive Biography
Rob Cerbone is a seasoned product and P&L leader who helps telecom, wireless, and technology companies translate innovation into profitable, scalable businesses. Over more than 20 years of leadership experience, he has held VP and GM roles with responsibility for hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue, leading teams that design, launch, and grow complex connectivity and subscription services.
Rob’s career spans network operators, technology providers, and private‑equity–backed companies. He has led initiatives ranging from new product incubation and go‑to‑market design to large‑scale portfolio simplification and digital transformation. His work often sits at the intersection of product, marketing, sales, and operations—aligning strategy with what it actually takes to execute in the field.
Examples of his impact include rationalizing a multi‑acquisition product portfolio for a security and home‑automation provider, dramatically reducing offer complexity while setting the stage for a modern digital sales experience; guiding a national research and education consortium on the role of private wireless in future campus connectivity; and helping a carrier‑focused managed services provider use private LTE/5G as the anchor for an expansion into the enterprise market.
Today, Rob works with organizations that are navigating growth, transformation, or new technology bets—whether as a full‑time executive, board or advisory member, or through focused projects with his boutique advisory practice, Cerbone & Co. He is particularly interested in opportunities where product strategy, connectivity, and go‑to‑market execution must come together to deliver measurable business results.
